For those aspiring for a career in the law
Scott is committed to those who have academic promise, but who have not yet fulfilled that promise, and are in need of a ‘leg up’.
He is currently offering up to 10 awards of £300 each per calendar year to students, who could use additional financial support to assist them in their aspiration to become a lawyer.
To apply for one of these awards, you must be:
- Based in the legal jurisdiction of England & Wales or practising in it;
- Be a pupil/student studying a recognised qualification in law, and be able to evidence this;
- Be suffering financial hardship (which will require you to make a financial statement); and
- Be committed to the Rule of Law and the preservation & enhancement of the English Common Law legal system.
To apply, please email your written response in no more than 200 words to the following proposition using this link:
Without law, without rules, what are we? The law, specifically the English Common Law, is the foundation of civilised society.
Please do not send follow-up emails. Scott reviews each submission personally, and can only respond to successful applicants.
